Auction: The Annual Auction of El Castillo de Chapultepec 2027

The Annual Auction of El Castillo de Chapultepec once again brings together more than 200 artists, remaining the only event of this scale during Mexico City Art Week organized by a nonprofit cultural project focused on the local artistic community.

The invitation is extended to all artists who participated in previous editions, who recommend other artists themselves, with the intention to continue growing. Each artist presents an artwork that represents the quality of their work, in most cases a previously unseen one. Prices vary and respond to the characteristics of each artwork.

Partner collections:

We have a program to encourage the auctioned works to be acquired by art collections committed to promoting their circulation and dissemination. Partner collections may directly acquire any of the auctioned works at the “direct purchase price” only on opening day (Monday, February 1), as long as the artwork has not yet received any bids.
