Macolen

Since February 2025, Macolen1 functions as the printing press of El Castillo de Chapultepec. It is a risograph printer used to produce internal documents, as well as communications material related to the project.

Currently, the archive of Macolen is in the process of being formed at El Castillo de Chapultepec.

Macolen (since 2012) was founded by Manuel Bueno, Mariel Calderón and Rodrigo Escandón. It was active in an office within Plaza del Ángel in the Zona Rosa of Mexico City until 2016. Subsequently, it opened to the public as a subspace in collaboration with APRDELESP in a commercial space in the San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood where it remained active until 2020.
