BABA is a collaboration between artist PJ Rountree and chef Kenny Curran. PJ's installation consists of a series of moving, kinetic sculptural elements integrated into the site. The materials-tubes, ropes, colanders, blanket, chicharrón and cactus slime-referenced the vocabulary of tianguis, boats and food as sculpture. Kenny prepared food with slimy textures and saturated colors. PJ and Kenny worked together in a spirit of constant improvisation and experimentation.
